About the position

The Long Term Substitute 2nd Grade Teacher is responsible for maintaining the academic progress of students during a teacher's short-term leave of absence. This role involves assuming all responsibilities of the classroom teacher, ensuring high-quality instruction is delivered with professionalism and accuracy throughout the assignment.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate lesson plans during the teacher's absence.
• Maintain students' academic progress.
• Assume all responsibilities of the classroom teacher.
• Deliver high-quality instruction consistently.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher (preferred)
• Transcript from an accredited college showing at least 60 semester hours of completed coursework.

Nice-to-haves

• Completion of the STEDI SubSkills Online Training Course (optional)
• Experience in classroom management and teaching strategies.
