About the position
The Long-Term Substitute Elementary Teacher will be responsible for managing a 1st grade classroom at Igo Elementary School from January 2, 2025, through April 28, 2025. This role requires appropriate Massachusetts DESE Certification and involves full-time in-person teaching duties during the school week.
Responsibilities
- Manage classroom activities and student behavior
- Develop and implement lesson plans
- Assess and evaluate student progress
- Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student performance
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Appropriate Massachusetts DESE Certification
- Classroom management skills
- Experience in teaching or classroom settings
