About the position
The Chelmsford Public Schools is now accepting applications for the anticipated vacancy of a Long-Term Substitute Health Education Teacher. This position is set to begin on January 6, 2025, and will continue through May 5, 2025, although these dates are subject to change. The assignment will take place at Chelmsford High School.
Responsibilities
- Teach students in academic, social, and manipulative skills within assigned subject areas.
- Provide optimum student services in accordance with the objectives established by the School Committee.
- Coordinate efforts with specialists assigned to provide additional specific services.
- Confer with parents to promote better understanding of the pupil and his/her environment.
- Assist and guide ancillary personnel.
- Attend meetings and prepare and maintain all related records and reports reflecting activities as required or directed.
- Perform other duties as directed or as responsibilities necessitate.
