About the position
The Long Term Substitute High School Math Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality math instruction to students at the Middle/Senior High School level. This role is essential in maintaining the continuity of education during the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring that students meet their learning objectives and receive the support they need to succeed in mathematics.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective math instruction to high school students.
- Create and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents.
- Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student learning.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or Education with a focus on Mathematics.
- Valid teaching certification for high school mathematics.
- Experience teaching high school math preferred.
