This includes implementing lesson plans effectively while ensuring the integrity of academic time. You will motivate students to learn and participate actively in their education. Organizing students for effective instruction is key, as is providing adequate supervision to ensure the health, welfare, and safety of all students in your care. Confidentiality is paramount in this role, and you will be expected to maintain and respect the privacy of student and school personnel information. Compliance with school and district regulations and policies is essential, as is the ability to follow both oral and written directions. Establishing effective working relationships with staff and students is critical to creating a supportive classroom environment. You will also be responsible for reporting any student injuries, accidents, illnesses, or discipline problems to the appropriate authority promptly. Additional duties may be assigned by building administrators in accordance with district policies and practices.
