About the position
The Long Term Substitute Teacher for the Autism Cluster is responsible for maintaining the academic progress of students during a teacher's short-term leave of absence. This role requires the interim substitute teacher to assume all responsibilities of the classroom teacher, ensuring high-quality instruction is delivered with accuracy and professionalism throughout the assignment.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate lesson plans during the teacher's absence.
- Maintain students' academic progress.
- Assume all responsibilities of the classroom teacher during the assignment.
- Deliver high-quality instruction consistently.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher (preferred)
- Transcript from an accredited college showing at least 60 semester hours of completed coursework.
- Minimum of two signed and dated letters of reference, including one from the last employer or cooperating teacher.

- Completion of the STEDI SubSkills Online Training Course (optional)
