Responsibilities

• Remain up to date regarding curriculum content.
• Plan and assess curriculum and instruction effectively.
• Mentor students in understanding the curriculum and adjust instruction as needed.

Requirements

• Massachusetts DESE License in English as a Second Language PK-6.
• SEI Endorsement.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Teaching experience in the content area.
• Demonstrated experience supporting students with special needs.

Nice-to-haves

• Ability to speak Albanian, Arabic, Nepali, Portuguese, Spanish, Vietnamese, or an African Language.
• Experience teaching students who are English language learners.
• Demonstrated experience with second language acquisition.
