About the position
The Long Term Support Services (LTSS) Communications Advisor is a temporary position within the Colorado Department of Health Care Policy & Financing (HCPF). This role supports the overflow work of the Communications Liaison and the Strategic Outcomes Division Director, focusing on care and case management systems and related initiatives. The position is crucial for developing and disseminating communication materials, managing projects, and coordinating across various teams to ensure effective communication regarding health care programs and initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute dissemination of newly created materials to support implementation of Care and Case Management (CCM) Stabilization initiatives.
- Provide project management support for the execution of communication plans for the launch of phases 3 and 4 of CCM.
- Assist with development, review, and approval coordination for trainings or desk guides related to current or future CCM phases.
- Coordinate across offices to gather relevant information for communication material and facilitate cross-office meetings.
- Participate in external stakeholder engagement opportunities as needed.
- Assist with communication e-clearance and project tracking as assigned.
- Support the coordination across teams for planning, developing, executing, and monitoring communications related to various initiatives.
- Ensure communication plans are updated to reflect the most recent guidance and operational timelines.
- Work with subject matter experts to draft various forms of communications and ensure timely clearance of materials.
Requirements
- Seven (7) years of experience in developing communication plans including drafting messaging and writing detailed public-facing communications.
- Experience working with cross-office teams.
