About the position

The Longitudinal Data Analyst position at the Center for Educational Performance and Information (CEPI) within the State Budget Office involves performing analytical and reporting tasks related to Michigan's education data. The role requires collaboration with stakeholders to gather business requirements and develop solutions that meet their data needs, as well as assisting in the management and maintenance of the Michigan Statewide Longitudinal Data System (MSLDS). This position offers a hybrid work environment, allowing for both on-site and remote work options.

Responsibilities

  • Provide analytical and reporting services from the Michigan Statewide Longitudinal Data System (MSLDS).
  • Meet with stakeholders to collect business requirements and create solutions that meet their data needs.
  • Assist in the design, development, implementation, operation, and maintenance of the MSLDS.
  • Design and test data loads for the MSLDS.

Requirements

  • Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major.
  • One year of professional experience for Departmental Analyst 10 level.
  • Two years of professional experience for Departmental Analyst P11 level, including one year at the intermediate (10) level in state service.
