About the position

The Vice President, Enterprise Architect role at Sony is a strategic leadership position focused on enhancing the company's architectural maturity and value through the execution of an effective Enterprise Architecture Program. This role involves developing and implementing architecture strategies specifically in the data and integration domains, while collaborating with various stakeholders across the organization to drive modernization and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Develop the Data/Analytics and Integration Strategies, and platform architectures.
• Develop the Data Governance Operating Model.
• Participate in Data Transformation Projects.
• Support the EA Program Activities and Initiatives including Portfolio Rationalization, Capability Analysis, Target State Architecture, and Architecture Review Board.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Data Analytics or Computer Science.
• 15+ years in IT with a focus on Data, Security, and Integration.
• 8+ years of experience in technology delivery positions, analytics and reporting, and Data Warehouse/Lake.
• 5 years of experience with Enterprise Architecture Program including Architecture Review Board, Pattern, Standards, Technology Catalog, Business Application Portfolio Rationalization, Change Management process, and Risk Management.
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering/modeling, consulting/training skills, information security, data governance, architecture strategy development, and executive communication.
• AWS/Google Cloud Platform/Azure Certifications.
• Experience using Collibra, SAP Datasphere, Erwin, Excel, Java, Python, LLM, Informatica, Datastage, Alteryx, Jira, ServiceNow, Sharepoint, Confluence.
• Reporting & Analytics Skills (Power BI, Tableau, Excel).
• Data Warehouse/Lake engineering skills.
• 2 years understanding of data mesh architecture.
• Data Modeling skills to represent organizational data.
• Strong collaboration skills for building cross-functional teams.
• Effective presentation skills for addressing both executive and technical audiences.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in Media and Entertainment with modern data management methods.
