About the position

The CAD Operator will be responsible for preparing construction systems submittal drawings to support electronic systems contracting operations. This role involves working under supervision to create various electrical systems drawings and maintain project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare construction systems submittal drawings under supervision.
• Create electrical systems drawings including floorplan layouts, riser diagrams, and installation termination drawings.
• Receive project assignments from project engineers or operations manager.
• Prepare submittal documentation such as data sheets and battery calculations.
• Maintain project drawing files and associated records and documentation.
• Track and maintain as-built drawings.
• Perform other related duties as necessary.

Requirements

• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Proficient computer skills in Windows-based software and MS Office 2000 or higher.
• Good organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and mathematical aptitude.
• High school or equivalent education required.
