About the position

The Data Analyst / Programmer role involves utilizing the Microsoft Office suite and SQL to analyze data and support e-commerce initiatives. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, adaptability, and excellent communication skills, working independently to address various analytical challenges.

Responsibilities

• Identify relevant trends and conduct follow-up analysis.
• Prepare visualizations and reports for team review.
• Gather and understand requirements from stakeholders.
• Address a wide range of issues as they arise.
• Work quickly with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• Experience with Microsoft Office stack and SQL.
• 2-4 years of recent experience as a Data Analyst.
• Experience programming on enterprise or department servers or systems.
• 4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience in SQL/PL.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with retail or e-commerce industry including requirements gathering and/or systems analysis.
• Experience in a database development environment with Transact-SQL or PL/SQL.
• Business intelligence, analytics, or big data experience.
• Experience with Oracle 10g or later.
