We are a vibrant and colorful animal sanctuary located in the San Fernando Valley, seeking an enthusiastic videographer to join our team for a unique YouTube show focused on educating children about rescued animals. The ideal candidate will be an epic videographer with experience in handling a 4K camera, and familiarity with gimbals is a significant plus. This role is not just about filming; it’s about storytelling and creating engaging, viral content for social media. The primary responsibility will be to film short episodes, each lasting about 90 seconds, which will be posted weekly. The scripts for these episodes are already prepared, and the editing and posting will be handled by the sanctuary. The filming process is designed to be fun and engaging, with a focus on capturing the essence of the animals and the sanctuary environment. In addition to the weekly episodes, the videographer will also dedicate time to creating three 30-second to 1-minute videos each week for our sanctuary's social media platforms. These videos will be crafted from footage collected by volunteers and are intended to be heartwarming and catchy, aimed at attracting a larger volunteer community. This position is perfect for someone who has a passion for filming, a good eye for lighting and angles, and a natural love for animals. The work environment is lively and filled with positive energy, and we encourage creativity and innovation in storytelling. If you enjoy being around animals, have a sense of childlike wonder, and want to contribute to educating children about rescued animals, this job is for you!
