About the position

The Technical Project Manager will oversee the development team, managing both local and offshore resources. This role requires a strong background in mobile application development, particularly with NodeJS and React Native, and involves regular in-office presence in Connecticut. The ideal candidate will be a mentor to developers and will be responsible for ensuring effective project delivery while fostering a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor the development team, both local and offshore.
• Oversee mobile application development projects using NodeJS and React Native.
• Facilitate communication between team members and senior management.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to C-level executives.
• Ensure project timelines and deliverables are met.
• Occasionally travel to accompany senior management to meetings across the USA.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field from an Ivy League institution or equivalent.
• Strong experience in mobile application development, specifically with NodeJS and React Native.
• Project management certification is a plus but not required.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work full-time in the office at least 3-5 days a week.
