About the position

RJE Home Remodeling is seeking a Skilled Construction Foreman to oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation for residential home improvement projects. The role involves leading a crew of 2-3 laborers, ensuring high standards of workmanship, and managing various aspects of construction projects, including custom kitchens, bathrooms, additions, and exterior work such as roofing and siding.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of designated construction projects.
• Allocate resources for assigned projects.
• Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors.
• Interface with project inspectors, subcontractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients.
• Negotiate with subcontractors to receive reasonable order costs.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications.

Requirements

• 5 years minimum proven experience working as a foreman.
• Proven hands-on knowledge of construction.
• Proven ability to effectively and efficiently manage a crew of 2-3 laborers.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing work.
• Strong communication skills.
• Dependable transportation to get to and from the shop.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Excellence at multi-tasking and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong work ethics - punctual, hard-working & dependable.
• Detail-oriented.

Nice-to-haves

• Prior insurance work experience is a plus but not a requirement.
• Portfolio of projects worked on would be a plus.
