About the position

This position is for a part-time family assistant and nanny for a West Village family of three. The role involves managing household tasks and providing childcare for their 6-year-old son. The ideal candidate will assist with family organization, errands, and childcare duties, including planning activities and travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage household tasks related to the family's townhome renovation.
• Grocery shopping and running errands.
• Manage vendors and plan the 6-year-old's schedule.
• Research activities for the child and plan family travel.
• Provide childcare from 4 PM onwards, including taking the child to classes, assisting with homework, and preparing dinner.
• Help with bath and bedtime routines.
• Travel with the family to various locations several times a year.

Requirements

• Must have a college degree, preferably in education.
• Must have longevity in previous roles.
• Must provide references from former employers.
• Must have a valid driver's license for driving outside the city.
• Must know how to swim.
