About the position

The Loss Prevention Associate is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of associates, customers, and merchandise at Walmart. This role involves investigating incidents, thinking critically, and solving complex problems to prevent loss and maintain a secure environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess the safety and security of the store environment.
• Investigate incidents of theft or loss and gather evidence.
• Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary.
• Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with security policies.
• Provide training and support to associates on loss prevention techniques.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in loss prevention or security preferred.
• Strong observational and analytical skills.
• Ability to think critically and solve problems effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
