About the position

The Loss Prevention Customer Service Associate II at TJ Maxx plays a crucial role in supporting the District Loss Prevention Manager and Store Management by acting as a visual deterrent to prevent loss and dishonesty. This position focuses on maintaining a positive shopping experience for customers while ensuring the safety of the store environment. The associate is responsible for adhering to company policies, maintaining a professional presence, and effectively communicating with customers and store teams.

Responsibilities

  • Support the District Loss Prevention Manager and Store Management in executing core responsibilities.
  • Act as a visual deterrent to prevent potential loss and dishonesty.
  • Wear a complete Company approved uniform including a Body Worn Camera.
  • Greet customers appropriately and demonstrate courtesy and respect.
  • Establish and maintain a position at the front of the store or in a department.
  • Respond to customer requests for assistance by referring them to store management or customer service via a Company issued radio.
  • Observe and report any suspicious behavior or critical incidents to LP or store management.
  • Perform a closing safety sweep of the store with a member of management.
  • Document required incidents in AIIM Case Management.
  • Adhere to all Company Policy and Procedure.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Able to stand for long periods of time.
  • 0-2 years of retail or security experience.
