About the position
As a Lot Attendant/Porter at Lexus of Sacramento, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that vehicles in the service area are well-maintained and ready for delivery to customers. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a busy environment and prefer to be active rather than sitting behind a desk all day. Your responsibilities will include taking care of vehicles, maintaining their cleanliness, and assisting with customer interactions. You will greet customers who are dropping off their vehicles for repairs and ensure that all vehicles are thoroughly cleaned, which includes washing, vacuuming, and polishing them. Additionally, you will be responsible for moving vehicles to maintain an attractive display and support sales activities. This role requires a professional appearance and a strong work ethic, as you will be representing the dealership in various capacities.
Responsibilities
- Take care of vehicles in the service area and ensure they are clean and ready for delivery to customers.
- Greet and assist customers dropping off vehicles for repairs.
- Move and work with vehicles to maintain vehicle display and support vehicle sales activities.
- Deliver vehicles to sites and locations as required.
- Thoroughly clean (wash, vacuum, and polish) and maintain all vehicles.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to operate a wide variety of cars, light trucks, and vans, including both manual and automatic transmissions.
- Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence.
