The Driver position at Enterprise Mobility offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a leading automotive rental and leasing company. As a Driver, you will be responsible for delivering vehicles and, in some cases, transporting customers, employees, or vendors safely and in a timely manner to their designated destinations. This role emphasizes the importance of providing helpful, courteous, and professional customer service, ensuring that every interaction reflects the high standards of the Enterprise brand. The position is based at Huntsville International Airport, where you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to maintaining the company's reputation as one of the top places to work in the industry. In this role, you will be tasked with various responsibilities that include transporting and shuttling rental vehicles around and between the National/Alamo and Enterprise locations at the airport. You will drive vehicles from the return location to the cleaning and servicing area, ensuring that they are ready for the next customer. Additionally, you will be responsible for moving vehicles to different areas of the lot or facility as directed by management, delivering vehicles to other Enterprise locations off airport property, and communicating effectively with team members via 2-way radio or cellular phone. This position requires a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction, making it essential to perform all duties with diligence and care.
Responsibilities
- Transport and shuttle rental vehicles around and between National/Alamo and Enterprise locations at Huntsville International Airport.
- Drive vehicles from return location to cleaning/servicing location.
- Drive serviced vehicles from cleaning location to ready line location and park for easy access by customers.
- Move vehicles to different areas of the lot or facility as needed and directed by management.
- Deliver vehicles to other Enterprise locations off Airport property as directed by management.
- Ride with or follow drivers to drop off vehicle(s) or pick up vehicle(s).
- Communicate via 2-way radio or cellular phone as necessary.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past three years.
- No drug or alcohol-related conviction on driving record in the past five years.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
- Must be living within a reasonable commute of no more than 30 minutes from this location.
- Must have at least six (6) consecutive months of prior work/organizational experience.
