About The Position

Velocity Vehicle Group is looking for a Lot Porter / Driver to join their team in Fontana, CA. This is a full-time position with working hours from Monday to Friday between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm. The role involves assisting with customer check-in, driving trucks between service areas and customers, maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of trucks and the lot, performing weekly inventory checks, making local deliveries, and acting as a liaison between departments. Requirements

High school diploma or the equivalent.
Two (2) plus years driving experience preferred.
Current Commercial driver license A / B.
Good time management skills.
Detail oriented.

Responsibilities

Assist with the customer check-in process.
Drive trucks from the customer service area to the service repair garage and back to the front of the building for customer return.
Maintain the trucks on the lot clean and presentable for potential customers.
Maintain the lot in clean and marketable condition.
Perform weekly inventory checks, including starting/running vehicles.
Make local deliveries.
Act as a liaison between the sales department and the service/body shop.
Perform additional tasks as required by the department.
