About the position

The Pennsylvania Lottery is seeking an experienced Lottery Sales Representative to manage a specific sales territory in Greene County. This role involves providing support and guidance to existing retailers, recruiting new retailers, and educating them on the benefits of joining the lottery network. The representative will work to increase sales and contribute to the mission of generating funding for older Pennsylvanians, making a significant impact in the community.

Responsibilities

• Provide product guidance and support to existing retailers.
• Recruit new retailers and educate them on the benefits of joining the retailer network.
• Develop strategies to help retailers succeed in increasing their sales.
• Navigate a web-based portal and demonstrate proficiency in PC and iPad usage.
• Read and interpret sales data to communicate effectively with business owners and customers.
• Engage players at retailer events and network with other sales representatives.
• Lift and carry up to 40 lbs as needed during normal business operations.
• Work overtime on a limited basis and drive in various weather conditions.

Requirements

• Four years of experience in progressively responsible sales or marketing work.
• Current driver's license that is not under suspension.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 40 pounds.
• Four or more years of customer service experience in a sales environment.
• Availability to work the required schedule of 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. with occasional schedule changes.
