About the position

The Low Voltage Cable Technician is responsible for the installation of commercial voice and data cabling systems. This role requires a minimum of two years of experience in the field, specifically in voice/data cable installation, and is not suitable for those with only cable television installation experience. The technician will work full-time, primarily during weekdays, and must possess the necessary tools and knowledge to perform installations effectively.

Responsibilities

• Install commercial voice and data cabling systems.
• Ensure compliance with color coding for cabling.
• Utilize hand tools for installation tasks.
• Provide customer service during installations.
• Work at multiple locations as required.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a commercial voice/data cable installer.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to pass background and drug tests.
• Own hand tools for installation work.
• Proficiency in English.
