Low Voltage Installer - Entry Level

About the position

As a Low Voltage Installer at E2 Optics, you will assist in various aspects of structured cable installation, including pathway construction, rough-in, routing, and cable terminations. This entry-level position does not require prior experience and offers a unique opportunity to grow within a dynamic and innovative company that values creativity and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation activities as needed.
• Follow safe work practices and company policies.
• Maintain jobsite organization and basic housekeeping.
• Organize materials, tools, and equipment, and collect debris.
• Learn to read and interpret floorplans, drawings, specifications, and cutsheets.
• Understand the materials and methodologies involved in structured cabling installation.
• Ask relevant questions to clarify tasks before starting work.
• Comply with customer security requirements.
• Exhibit and maintain a professional appearance and behavior.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• OSHA 10 certification within the first 2 weeks in role.
• Experience in Structured Cabling or related construction preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Demonstrated ability to be proactive and dependable.
• Efficient time management skills at the jobsite.
• Accountability for safety, quality, and productivity.
• Exhibit a positive attitude and be a solid team player.
