About the position

MasterBrand Cabinets LLC is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to promote and grow the Diamond and other MasterBrand cabinet lines in Lowe's home improvement stores within the Houston, TX market. This role is pivotal in capturing market share from existing competitors and enhancing the sales performance of our products. The primary responsibility includes conducting product and sales training, performing competitive analysis, and utilizing computer design programs to facilitate sales. For strong candidates lacking specific skills, we are willing to provide training in our business and product line. The Outside Sales Representative will report to the Lowe's Area Sales Manager, who in turn reports to the Regional Sales Manager. This position requires frequent travel to various Lowe's locations within the territory, with sales visits scheduled every 3-4 weeks. The representative will be responsible for building relationships with existing in-store designers, assisting them in closing sales, and mentoring new designers. Additionally, the role involves managing customer satisfaction by facilitating issue resolution and receiving product in both new and existing stores, which may require lifting up to 40 lbs. The ideal candidate will possess an outgoing and driven personality, excellent interpersonal skills, and strong written, verbal, and presentation abilities. A valid driver's license with a good standing record is essential, and while kitchen design experience and familiarity with 20/20 software are preferred, they are not mandatory. A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Design, or a related field is highly preferred, aligning with our commitment to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
