About the position

Join us for our Job Fair Event at Gottlieb Memorial Hospital, MacNeal Hospital, and Loyola University Medical Center. We are looking to hire for various roles including Service Associate (Housekeeping), Dietary Assistant, and Cook. The event will take place on Wednesday, February 26th, 2025, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm at Gottlieb Memorial Hospital, located at 701 West North Avenue, Melrose Park, IL 60160. Responsibilities

Cleans patient rooms and restocks equipment and supplies as a Service Associate.
Supports quality patient care services by maintaining a clean, sanitary, safe, and orderly environment.
Performs a variety of tasks related to food service as a Dietary Aide/Assistant.
Provides customer service to visitors, patients, and staff by serving consistent food products.
Processes diet orders, nourishment, supplements, and requests for additional menu items.
Communicates with patients, nurses, dietitians, and co-workers regarding dietary needs of patients.
Prepares, seasons, and cooks various foods for consumption in cafeteria or patient rooms as a Cook.
Reviews menus and production schedules to determine quantities needed and plans cooking schedule.

Requirements

Ability to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
Good communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare staff.
Basic food service knowledge and customer service skills for Dietary Assistant role.
Cooking skills and knowledge of food safety for Cook position.
