About The Position

The LMSW/LPC Therapist at DHR Health is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care through psychosocial assessments, group therapy, individual therapy, family therapy, and treatment planning. This role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and active participation in community relations programs, ensuring that the facility's mission and values are upheld in all interactions.

Requirements

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Master Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Licensed Professional Counselor.
• Master's Degree in social work, counseling, or psychology from an accredited university.
• Current BCLS certification or certification within 3 months of hire date.
• CPI training within 30 days of hire date.
• One year of experience working with child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric psychiatric patients.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Spanish language skills helpful.
• Prefer hospital experience.

Responsibilities

• Promotes the facility mission, vision, and values by effectively communicating them to others.
• Documents findings accurately and in a timely manner, formulating the plan of care based on findings.
• Completes family sessions within 24 hours of patient admission unless justified otherwise.
• Completes discharge plans for patients with existing support systems.
• Represents the program well in interactions both inside and outside the hospital.
