About the position

The Remote Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) position at Headway offers an opportunity for licensed counselors to either launch or expand their private practice. Headway provides support in navigating the mental healthcare system, allowing clinicians to focus on patient care while handling administrative tasks such as insurance credentialing and billing. This role is designed for flexibility, enabling counselors to set their own hours and choose between in-person or telehealth sessions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychotherapy sessions with patients.
• Provide and oversee medication management.
• Accept insurance and handle billing and administrative paperwork through Headway.
• Maintain a flexible schedule by deciding the number of clients to see.
• Grow caseload through marketing support and patient referrals.

Requirements

• Must be a fully-licensed professional counselor at a Master's level or above.
• Valid NPI number required.
• Malpractice insurance is necessary.
