About the position
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position at Wallace Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is a full-time role focused on providing quality care to residents in a long-term care facility. The LPN will supervise staff and ensure the health, safety, and welfare of all residents by adhering to applicable laws, regulations, and established nursing policies and procedures. This position operates on a night shift schedule from 7 PM to 7 AM.
Responsibilities
- Provide supervision of staff and ensure the health, safety, and welfare of residents.
- Follow applicable laws, regulations, and established nursing policies and procedures.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and document residents' health status and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Assist in the development and implementation of resident care plans.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current State License as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Experience in a Long-Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) is preferred.
