About the position
The Osborn is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide compassionate care to residents in our Assisted Living Facility. This role involves working either evening or night shifts, focusing on delivering diverse medical care while ensuring the comfort and well-being of our residents.
Responsibilities
- Accurately record patients' medical histories
- Measure and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate
- Monitor patients under treatment to assess progress and identify any side effects of medications
- Administer injections, prescribed medications, clean and dress wounds, and assist with other basic medical care tasks
Requirements
- Valid NYS LPN License
- Ability to perform a variety of care tasks and collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team
- Familiarity with health, safety, and sanitation standards and procedures in a healthcare setting
- Strong understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, with the ability to manage stress effectively
