About the position

The LPN position at Innova Solutions in Camillus, NY, is a full-time role focused on providing essential nursing support in a clinical setting. Responsibilities

• Review and prepare patient charts prior to patient appointments.
• Perform various duties related to patient appointments and medical records, including taking vital signs and documenting health history.
• Demonstrate EMR proficiency for routine clinical tasks such as orders and appointment management.
• Enter orders into EMR and obtain insurance authorizations for tests and DME as indicated in provider notes.
• Act as a liaison between patients, providers, office staff, and outside contacts to ensure smooth workflow.
• Collect samples from patients, perform routine lab tests, and administer medications as needed.
• Clean and restock rooms, notifying the Nurse Manager of supply needs.
• Work closely with Nurse Manager and/or secretary staff to address chart and scheduling issues.
• Assist providers with procedures and prepare patients accordingly.
• Monitor patient satisfaction levels and report complaints to the Nurse Manager or Practice Manager.

Requirements

• LPN license and 3 years of directly related experience.
• Current CPR certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Experience with electronic medical records; Epic experience preferred.
