About the position

Jonesboro Assisted Living is seeking a dedicated LPN Charge Nurse to join our team in Jonesboro, GA. This full-time position offers competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits program. The LPN Charge Nurse will work under the direction of the Executive Director and will be responsible for supervising assigned staff while providing quality nursing care to residents. In this role, the LPN Charge Nurse will coordinate nursing care in accordance with facility policies and procedures, state requirements, Department of Health regulations, and Federal Health Care Administration regulations. The ideal candidate will have a background in assisted living or long-term care settings, along with supervisory experience and excellent organizational skills. The LPN Charge Nurse will play a crucial role in ensuring that all nursing staff adhere to the highest standards of care and that residents receive the support they need. This includes overseeing daily operations, managing staff schedules, and ensuring compliance with health regulations. Responsibilities

  • Supervise assigned nursing staff and ensure quality nursing care is provided to residents.

  • Ensure compliance with state requirements and Department of Health regulations.
  • Maintain the highest practical level of functioning for residents.
  • Manage staff schedules and oversee daily operations of the nursing team.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
  • Current nursing license to practice as a licensed practical nurse in the state.
  • Must have current CPR Certification.
  • Previous work experience in an assisted living community or long-term care setting preferred.
  • Supervisory experience and organizational skills in an assisted living community or long-term care setting preferred.
