About the position

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at AdventHealth Medical Group is responsible for providing nursing care to patients under the direction of the Practice Manager/Director. This role involves assisting with patient education, supporting providers during examinations, and managing patient calls, including prescription refills. The LPN will document patient information in the electronic health record and ensure compliance with medication protocols, all while delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients under the direction of the Practice Manager/Director.
• Assist with patient education and support providers during examinations.
• Handle triage of patient calls, including prescription refills according to protocols.
• Document patient vitals and other pertinent information in the electronic health record (EMR).
• Order and maintain inventory of medical supplies and pharmaceuticals.
• Administer immunizations and ensure appropriate documentation of patient information.

Requirements

• Kansas LPN License
• Associate's Degree or Graduate of a Technical School
• BCLS obtained through the American Heart Association
• No Previous Experience Required
