About the position
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position at Cleveland Clinic's Orthopaedic Clinic involves providing high-quality patient care in a state-of-the-art facility. The role supports the Orthopaedic clinic at Tradition Health Park, focusing on patients with bone, joint, or connective tissue disorders. The LPN will work closely with a team of caregivers to ensure comprehensive patient care, documentation, and adherence to safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care to patients.
- Administer medication as prescribed.
- Maintain complete and accurate documentation in medical records and files.
- Complete authorization forms and laboratory requisitions.
- Implement pain management assessments and documentation.
- Adhere to the National Patient Safety Goals as outlined by JCAHO.
- Follow Code Blue protocol.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
- Florida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Knowledge of infection control practices.
- Experience with technology and computer literacy.
