About the position

We are hiring a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work 15-20 hours per week, specifically on Wednesdays and Fridays from 5 AM to 12 PM, with a rotating Saturday schedule that may change depending on the clinic's needs. ARS Treatment Centers specialize in outpatient treatment for individuals addicted to opiates, and our clinic is one of ten locations in the mid-Atlantic region providing specialized outpatient services through medication-assisted treatment. Responsibilities

  • Set up for dispensing of medication and dispense medication to patients.
  • Monitor medication inventory and report to charge nurses.
  • Reconcile inventory of Methadone and Suboxone at the conclusion of dosing.
  • Sign and process physician orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Enter notes and input flags as per physician orders.
  • Process phase change requests as needed.
  • Participate in treatment team and regular medical meetings in accordance with licensure standards.
  • Maintain proficiency with state licensure standards, CARF standards, 42 CFR, HIPAA standards, and company policies.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program with an active license as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Some understanding of substance abuse treatment and issues.
  • Ability to make independent decisions when needed.
  • Proficient in the use of personal computers and related software.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Successful completion of state-required background check and required training.
