About the position

The LPN Double Weekend Supervisor at Quail Ridge Senior Living is responsible for managing the assisted living community during weekends. This role involves overseeing a team of CNAs, Med Aides, and LPNs to ensure high-quality patient care and maintain the community's culture. The supervisor will utilize nursing skills to implement therapeutic and rehabilitative care, document patient outcomes, and collaborate with the wellness team.

Responsibilities

• Utilize nursing knowledge and skills in the safe implementation of basic preventative therapeutic and rehabilitative nursing of residents.
• Responsible for charting antibiotics, medications, new orders, and changes in patient conditions.
• Follow up with medications, labs, and new orders from one shift to another.
• Accurately document resident charts as required.
• Work collaboratively with other members of the Wellness team in coordination of resident care.
• Utilize appropriate teaching methods for residents' conditions, including one-on-one and group instruction.
• Supervise CNAs, CMAs, and ACMAs as requested by the Director of Nursing.
• Responsible for new admissions and conducting vital signs, assessments, and documentation as required.
• Follow Quail Ridge uniform policy during shifts, including the use of walkie-talkies and name badges.
• Oversee Health & Wellness staff, maintaining compliance and providing counseling as necessary.

Requirements

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• At least two years of experience as a Practical Nurse in similar settings.
• Valid Practical Nurse License without discipline from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing.
• Valid First Aid and CPR certifications.
