About the position

The LPN Endocrinology Coordinator at Statland Medical Group is responsible for providing clinical expertise to ensure high-quality patient care. This role involves managing patient flow, notifying patients of test results, and maintaining patient records, all while supporting the mission of HCA Healthcare to enhance human life through compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Manage efficient flow of patients including screening and preparation for exams.
• Instruct patients on the collection of necessary samples/tests and obtain vitals.
• Notify patients of test results and follow-up appointments.
• Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
• Manage patient records including chart entries and posting lab/tests and examination results.
• Schedule tests and treatments, arrange referrals to specialists, and obtain pre-authorizations when directed by the provider.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a hospital or clinic setting is preferred.
• Must be licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in accordance with state regulations.
