At The Cancer & Hematology Centers, we are dedicated to providing help, healing, and hope for cancer patients and their families. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality of care in a supportive environment. This position can be either full-time or part-time, with part-time hours consisting of 4-5 partial days per week. In this role, you will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, oncology-certified nurses, social workers, and pharmacy personnel, to address the needs of our patients. You will be responsible for handling telephone messages from patients, hospitals, physicians, and pharmacies regarding patient care, medication refills, and the overall plan of care. Your duties will also include conducting physical assessments, administering injections, and managing follow-up plans and appointments. Your contributions will not only focus on the clinical aspects of care but also on providing emotional support to patients and their families during a challenging time.
