About the position
Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide skilled nursing care to pediatric and/or adult patients in their homes. This role involves working with patients in the Washington County area on a PRN, part-time, or full-time basis, utilizing the nursing process to ensure quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Provide skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders on each assignment.
- Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data and information from healthcare members and document actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
Requirements
- Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state of practice.
- Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
- Current BLS card.
- One year prior professional nursing experience preferred.
