About The Position
Current Saint Francis Employees - Please click HERE to login and apply. Full Time Nights Eligible for $2,500 sign on bonus, per guidelines. Work schedule: 7:00pm-7:00am; variable schedule including every other weekend. Unit Description: 65 and older, Medical Surgical Telemetry Units. Overflow of Surgical, ortho, neuro and hospice / comfort measures. Utilization of hands-on skills Play an important role in not only the patient's care but also within their family-providing support and encouragement. Work closely with social work, case management, nurse navigators to provide information of discharge planning. Family oriented floor-striving to work as a team to deliver the best care for our patients. Lots of patient diversity Educating patients with diabetes, COPD, heart failure, strokes, dialysis, etc. Recently renovated floors. Niche unit: Nurses improving the care for Health System Elders: is a nurse driven program designed to help hospitals and health care organizations improve the care of older adults. The vision of Niche is for patients 65 or older to be given sensitive and exemplary care. Matrix at 4-5 patients per nurse.
