Responsibilities

• Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
• Provide wound care and other basic nursing procedures.
• Observe and report changes in patients' conditions to the registered nurse or physician.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Document administered medications, treatments, and nursing care provided.
• Record and report any unusual symptoms or reactions.
• Work closely with registered nurses, physicians, and other healthcare team members to coordinate patient care.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing education and emotional support.
• Conduct basic assessments of patients' health status.
• Collect and analyze patient data to assist in the development of care plans.
• Participate in the development of care plans based on patient assessments.
• Provide patient and family education on various health topics, including medication management and disease prevention.
• Instruct patients on self-care techniques.
• Adhere to healthcare facility policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Ensure patient safety and well-being.
• Follow infection control protocols.
• Monitor and maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including RNs, physicians, and support staff.
• Stay updated on nursing practices, regulations, and advancements in healthcare.
