About the position
Interim HealthCare is looking for an experienced school nurse to join our staffing team. This position offers a flexible schedule, allowing you to pick shifts based on your availability. The schools include elementary, middle, and high schools, with shifts scheduled Monday through Friday at various times depending on each school. Your primary responsibility will be to provide health services to students while they are at school. This includes treating injuries and mild to acute sicknesses, as well as supporting students with chronic illnesses. You will also play a role in preventive care by educating students on how to avoid communicable diseases and maintain proper hygiene. Comfort with feeding tubes, trachs, and medication administration is essential.
Responsibilities
- Provide health services to students at school

Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Active RN/LPN license in Missouri
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a medical facility
- CPR certification
- Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations
- Demonstrated clinical proficiency and critical thinking skills
- Good communication skills and compassion
