The LPN/Med Manager position is focused on providing quality clinical care in a home health, assisted living, hospital, or long-term care environment. This role requires a dedicated professional who can manage multiple priorities while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. The position emphasizes effective communication, teamwork, and the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of residents.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality clinical care to residents in accordance with nursing practices and regulations.
- Manage medication administration and ensure compliance with health and wellness standards.
- Conduct assessments and develop care plans based on resident needs.
- Guide and teach team members to enhance the quality of care provided.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of resident care and medication administration.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members regarding care and services.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved college/school of nursing.
- Current state license as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN).
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in home health, assisted living, hospital, or long-term care environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of nursing practices, techniques, and methods applied to health and wellness resident care.
- Good assessment skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Competent in organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrated good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel).
