The LPN - Med Surg Acute position at Lower Bucks Hospital involves providing direct and indirect patient care services in a medical-surgical acute setting. Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care services requiring technical and manual skills.
• Meet the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care for patients.
• Ensure effective communication with patients and their families.
• Perform duties under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Demonstrate knowledge of EMTALA regulations and triage processes in the ER setting.

Requirements

• Current and valid state license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• IV certification upon hire; Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification preferred.
