Madonna Rehabilitation Hospitals is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a PRN Days position at our Omaha-Madonna Main Campus. In this position, you will be responsible for delivering direct patient care, administering prescribed medications and treatments, and compiling and recording patient care information. Attending shift reports at the beginning and end of each shift is essential to ensure seamless communication among nursing team members. Collaboration with the clinical services team is key to delivering excellent patient care, and effective communication with physicians, families, and patients is crucial to your success in this role. Responsibilities

  • Delivers direct patient care, administers prescribed medication and treatments to patients
  • Compiles, compares, and records patient care information
  • Contributes to the assessment of patient condition and communicates any changes
  • Attends shift report at the beginning and end of each shift to ensure good communication between nursing members
  • Collaborates with clinical services team to deliver excellent patient care

Requirements

  • Active LPN license in the state of Nebraska
  • CPR certification
  • One year clinical experience preferred
  • Strong commitment and dedication to Madonna and the patients we serve
  • Friendly, caring, and professional demeanor to achieve an excellent patient/customer experience
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to challenging situations
