Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily activities of the nursing department.
• Assess current care plans and implement a plan of care for residents.
• Ensure medications and treatments are administered to assigned residents.
• Process physicians' orders and notify physicians in a timely manner.
• Observe and document observations and care given to residents.
• Direct and assist with resident, family/significant other education.
• Determine appropriate treatment plans for each patient.
• Supervise direct care support staff.

Requirements

• Current Nursing License in the State of Minnesota
• BLS Certification
• Prior experience as a supervisor preferred
• Previous mental health working experience preferred but not necessary
