About the position

The BAYADA Nurse Residency Program is designed for new graduate nurses seeking a rewarding career in home care. This full-time, paid program includes a 6-week intensive training followed by a 9-month residency, focusing on developing critical thinking and nursing skills in a supportive environment. Participants will receive mentorship from experienced clinicians and gain hands-on experience in providing care to patients in their homes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments
• Provide training and education to family members
• Administer medications and prescribed treatments
• Communicate with the multidisciplinary team regarding patient care
• Manage supplies and emergency situations

Requirements

• Current LPN license in good standing
• Current CPR certification
• Strong organizational skills
• Effective communication skills
