About the position
The LPN or RN Staff Nurse at Three Pillars Senior Living Communities is responsible for providing compassionate and holistic care to residents in a skilled nursing environment. This part-time position involves administering medications, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans. Responsibilities
- Safely administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
- Maintain timely, accurate written and electronic charts/documents/records as required by law and policies.
- Observe and record resident condition information and report findings to the RN.
- Assist in the admission/readmission process, including gathering clinical data and developing initial care plans.
- Support and participate in resident care programs, ensuring CNAs fulfill their responsibilities in these areas.
Requirements
- Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse in Wisconsin.
- Current and valid CPR certification.
- Experience in long-term care preferred.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Ability to frequently push/pull objects weighing 60 pounds and occasionally lift and move objects weighing 100 pounds or more.
