About the position
Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for Private Duty Nursing in Albion, NY. This role involves providing 1:1 in-home patient care during evening shifts. The position offers competitive pay and does not require prior homecare experience.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Provide skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders on each assignment.
- Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data and information from healthcare members and document actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
Requirements
- Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state of practice.
- Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
- Current BLS card.
- One year prior professional nursing experience preferred.
