About the position

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide one-on-one nursing care to pediatric and/or adult patients in a home setting. This role involves utilizing the nursing process to ensure quality patient care and requires a commitment to compassionate service.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Provide skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders on each assignment.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data and information from healthcare members and document actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Requirements

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state of practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred.
